a melancholy sort of post

this story is interesting although perhaps not as positive as I usually like to keep this blog. I'm actually just mentioning it because it reminded me of this music video I saw a while back that really made an impact on me. It must be seen all the way through the end to appreciate it.

Spoils: Extraordinary Harvest

I really liked this 20 minute documentary about dumpster divers. The simplicity and attention to detail was well done and I was surprisingly stricken by the poignant beauty of the song played at the end by a nine-fingered pianist.
